Ryoko Tote - Ni
Painstakingly stitched by hand in their entirety, these bags are sewn together by a Japanese artisan following the Japanese art of kintsugi - the art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with urushi lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold. Except here the "pottery" is a collection of remnants of fabric from our workshop floor and the "gold" is the fine thread with which the patches are held together.

On average, we usually give our customers a 6-8 week lead on orders. Depending on production capacity and garment type, the time can be shorter. For example - Shirts: 2-3 weeks / Trousers: 2-3 weeks
We normally take a minimum 60% deposit when an order is made - this is standard procedure in order to secure the selected fabric for your order. Most of our clients tend to pay in full at point of order, however this is not mandatory and is usually exercisd after several orders.
Always have the garment turned inside out both during washing and ironing - this allows the garment to retain its colour for longer.

Garment Care: How do I wash and iron linen?
Linen is fantastically simple and easy material to care for. Wash inside out in cold water. Iron linen garments with a hot iron in order to allow the fibre to regain its shape

Garment Care: Is there a warranty on the clothing?
For bespoke/ custom orders, we normally give a 2 month window within which you can bring the garments in for alteration if necessary. Othere than that, we advise that if your garments require any repairs or alterations you should bring them back to us and we can assess what can be done.
